THE ROLE:

The Controls Engineer will have the opportunity of design and implementation of the control algorithms for the hyperloop transportation system

REQUIRED:

• Proficiency in MatLab/Simulink
• Experience with production level environments and product deliverables
• Identifying and utilizing applicable industry safety standards
• Experience converting MatLab models to code using C/C++
• Validating computational models with experiments

PREFERRED:

• Experience developing control laws and experience in the field of autonomous vehicle and/or propulsion/levitation/braking areas
• Works well in multi-functional team environment
• 3-5 years professional experience
• Masters or PhD candidates considered as well
• Experience working in large scale environments
• Autonomous vehicle response and control
• Data analysis and signal processing

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Proven experience implementing re-usable software components, frameworks, and libraries
• Working proficiency and excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Keen attention to detail
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
