Associate Front End Web Developer
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proficient understanding in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The role of the Associate Front End Web Developer will ensure consistent, high-quality website appearance for our company website utilizing HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The candidate will work closely with our optimization team to ensure all elements of our websites are running efficiently. The Associate Front End Web Developer is required to work in teams alongside other teams within the marketing department and throughout the organization, including, Product Marketing, Marketing Ops, Creative to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Will manage small web project builds including landing pages, product pages and micro-sites.
- Provide technical documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to edit content with in content management systems on multiple platforms.
- Determining the structure and design of web pages.
- Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout design.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of web development experience
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with frontend JQuery, Bootstrap framework
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
- Some knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React or Vue are a plus
- Exhibit a high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
- Must be a team player and collaborate well across departments
- Knowledge of some SEO principles
