Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks an Application Developer at our Pasadena, CA location. Responsibilities: Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, construction, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop and enhance software application programs and data structures. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Investigate and resolve software application issues. Collaborate with clients, Product Managers, Architects, and Analysts to develop and review software requirements and designs. Review and create system, software and functional design specifications that address software application requirements. Research, recommend, and introduce new technologies and new uses of existing technologies.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus three (3) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus one (1) year of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience.

Work Experience:

One (1) year of experience must include: Object-oriented software design; Unified Modeling Language (UML); Spring Framework; Hibernate; Ehcache; Java/Java J2EE; Websphere; J2EE compliant application servers, including Weblogic and JBoss; Relational database platforms, including Oracle 11g; Source code control tools, including SVN; AJAX, including Dojo and JQuery; JavaScript frameworks; and Agile software development, including Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP).

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

• Web Application Development Background Experience with Relational Databases, scripting languages, UI / User Interface development experience and related technologies preferred.
• Uses resources to resolve routine issues regarding technology & business Resolves issues regarding relationships & leadership on own merit
