Job Summary
Main-mission communication satellites, wideband links, command and telemetry, and terrestrial networks, along with their enabling technologies, are the domain of the Communication Technologies and Engineering Division. The division comprises all aspects, from architectures to implementation; our engineers work directly with corporate customers to ensure robust and resilient communications. The Communication Electronics Department and Optical Communications Office spends over $1.5M in hardware and software to solve our customer’s toughest problems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support purchase of electronics and optical hardware and software by using a P-card, preparing purchase requisitions, and interacting with external vendor, internal supply chain
- Interacting with other internal support organization representatives to solve departmental problems
- Assisting employees with travel arrangements and associated expense reporting
- Supporting Knowledge Management efforts and maintaining databases
- Coordinating and supporting meetings including obtaining clearances and badges for visitors
- Maintaining team awareness of various deadlines
- Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed
- Occasional on-site presence may be required during COVID-19 Protocal Restrictions
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with internal and external organizations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects while working efficiently under schedule and multiple project deadlines
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work with other computer database programs
- 4 or more years of Administrative Professional duties
- Work well in a team/collaborative and dynamic environment with the willingness to support divisional events
- Typing and proofreading skills
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

- Knowledge of Aerospace corporate policies, practices, procurement, and travel.
- Experience with database programs such as JIRA, CONFLUENCE, SHAREPOINT, SAP, WORKDAY
- Experience with virtual meeting software such as SKYPE, ZOOM, and TEAMS
- Current DOD clearance
