Job Overview

This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting AltaMed’s growing network infrastructure. This position will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.

Minimum Requirements

• CCNA or higher certification (CCNP preferred).

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or technical discipline preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience and working knowledge of deploying/maintaining LAN/WAN, MPLS, RADIUS, Wireless, and VPN required.

• Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewall security appliances.

• Experience with Cisco Routers and switches.

• Experience with Load Balancers

• Experience with SD-WAN technologies

• Experience with Network Access Control systems (Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass)

• Experience with wireless technologies (Cisco, Aruba) (Preferred)

• Experience with Software Defined networking technologies such as Cisco SDA and ACI (Preferred)

• Experience with data center technologies such as Cisco Nexus platform (Preferred)

• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) (Preferred)

• Experience with automation products and languages (Python, Ansible) (Preferred)
