What You'll Do:

This role is for internal application development for tools, frameworks, and services to build and distribute products. Must be able to both work in existing codebases and develop greenfield applications to specifications. This is a mid-level role that will focus on software development using Go but also require knowledge of object oriented languages like Python and query languages like SQL. React experience is a plus. Virtualization and containerization are heavily utilized in deployment and Kubernetes experience is preferred.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a large-scale production environment

  • Solid work experience in Product design & development and well versed in Go, Kubernetes, and being in a test driven environment.

  • Understanding of software build and CI/CD processes.

  • Experience with VMware, GCP, AWS and Azure as virtualization platforms.

  • Strong database skills (Postgres primarily).

  • Ability to communicate, collaborate at all levels of an organization.

  • Experience working in a team (distributed/global) to ship features and releases.

  • The skills to meet commitments on time and produce high quality software that is tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.

  • BS Degree or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Understanding of Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of microservices and microservice development.

  • Understanding of SOLID principles.

  • Experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, or other build automation software.

  • Experience with AWX and/or JAMF.

  • Experience in Helm and ArgoCD.

  • Knowledge of operating systems like Mac, Linux and Windows.

  • Prior knowledge of build automation.

  • Familiarity and experience with Agile processes.
