About Aleph

Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We’re trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We’re backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).

🔍 What we're looking for

Aleph is looking for an Engagement Manager, Private Equity to work hands-on with finance teams at PE-backed companies as they implement Aleph. You'll go deep on their financial infrastructure, onboard them onto the platform, and become their primary point of contact as they expand across core FP&A workflows, e.g. reporting, budgeting, headcount planning.

This role sits at the intersection of finance expertise and customer partnership. You'll spend meaningful time in spreadsheets and financial data -- but the job is ultimately about making customers successful, not just the technical work.

👷 What you’ll be doing
  • Onboard PE-backed customers and guide them through core FP&A workflows

  • Become the trusted point of contact for finance teams as they expand their Aleph implementation

  • Identify adoption gaps and drive usage across your customer portfolio

  • Surface customer feedback to product and engineering -- your input shapes the roadmap

  • Help make onboarding repeatable and reliable as we scale

📝 About you
  • 3+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or private equity (PE-backed company or fund-side)

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills

  • Ownership mentality; you don't wait to be told what needs fixing

  • Clear communicator who builds trust quickly with finance stakeholders

  • Comfortable managing multiple customers and priorities in parallel

  • Comfortable on a remote team

  • Early-stage startup experience a plus

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
