Exceptional in-person communication skills, including the ability to engage owners, executives, HR leaders, community partners, and civic leaders in formal and informal settings.
Demonstrated consultative sales ability: uncovering a business problem, making a clear value case, managing a multi-touch decision process, and respectfully asking for commitment.
Comfort operating independently in a high-travel field role while managing a pipeline, documenting activity, meeting goals, and coordinating closely with remote teammates.
Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout West Virginia, including occasional early-morning, evening, or community-event commitments. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Active relationships with West Virginia employers, chambers, EDAs, Rotary Clubs, trade associations, workforce organizations, or industry groups.
Experience with employee benefits, public-private partnerships, child care, workforce initiatives, or social-impact programs.
Ability to use basic ROI, retention, absenteeism, or workforce data to support employer decision-making.
Success in this role means becoming a recognized and trusted Tri-Share ambassador across West Virginia; creating a strong and active employer pipeline; enrolling employers that can meaningfully support working parents; and building durable community partnerships that help Tri-Share expand statewide.
This person will succeed by showing up consistently, listening closely, making the employer case for child care investment, and helping business leaders see Tri-Share as a practical workforce solution rather than simply another benefit expense.
