About us:

SentiLink provides innovative identity and risk solutions, empowering institutions and individuals to transact confidently with one another.

By building the future of identity verification in the United States and reinventing the currently clunky, ineffective, and expensive process, we believe strongly that the future will be 10x better.

We’ve had tremendous traction and are growing extremely quickly. Already our real-time APIs have helped verify hundreds of millions of identities, beginning with financial services. In 2021, we raised a $70M Series B round, led by Craft Ventures to rapidly scale our best in class products. We’ve earned coverage and awards from TechCrunch, CNBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, Business Insider, PYMNTS, American Banker, LendIt, and have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50 list consecutively since 2023. Last but not least, we’ve even been a part of history -- we were the first company to go live with the eCBSV and testified before the United States House of Representatives.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Employee Success Partner to work hand-in-hand with our Head of People to scale our company.

This role is critical in building a thriving employee experience through high-touch support, effective coaching and manager enablement, and thoughtful HR guidance. As a trusted advisor to both employees and managers, you’ll help shape and uphold our values-driven culture, guide performance and talent management strategies, and contribute to organizational health and effectiveness.

This is a US-based role, and we offer this position as a remote or hybrid opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a coach and partner to people managers, providing formal and informal coaching and offering guidance on team development, feedback conversations, and performance outcomes.

  • Partner with people managers to support org design initiatives, including role creation, leveling, career pathing, succession planning and bench strength and readiness.

  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to surface insights and identify trends.

  • Provide insights and action plans to improve team engagement and retention.

  • Design and facilitate recurring people manager meetings that focus on capability building and shared learning.

  • Partner with managers to define and track goals for new hires and existing employees.

  • Act as a confidential sounding board and advisor to employees and managers on interpersonal or performance-related challenges.

  • Facilitate and operationalize cyclical performance management processes, including reviews, calibrations, and promotion readiness.

  • Manage employee relations matters such as grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action.

  • Own all involuntary exit processes, including risk mitigation, documentation, and execution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in an HRBP, People Partner, or People Operations Manager role

  • Excellent coaching skills across all levels

  • Strong judgment and experience navigating sensitive employee matters

  • Deep knowledge of performance management, employment law, and org design

  • Proficiency with HR systems and tools

Salary range: $160,000/annually - $220,000/annually + equity + benefits

Perks:
  • Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents

  • 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Regular company-wide in-person events

  • Home office stipend, and more!

Corporate Values:
  • Follow Through

  • Deep Understanding

  • Whatever It Takes

  • Do Something Smart

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
