What You'll Do
RPMG is seeking a full-time, experienced Embryologist who will be responsible for performing IVF laboratory procedures to produce consistent pregnancy rates and deliver exceptional patient care. You will be part of a dedicated team working under Laboratory Director to provide exceptional clinical outcomes. This position includes rotating weekends.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining daily laboratory quality control.
- Identifies, assess, and culture of oocytes.
- Performing in vitro fertilization.
- Embryo culture and assessments.
- Selection and preparation of embryos for transfer.
- Micromanipulation techniques including ICSI, and trophoblast biopsy.
- Embryo and oocyte vitrification, storage, and warming,
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Who You Are:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or other related field.
- Previous work experience (minimum 2-3 years) in an IVF laboratory.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
