Your role at Clorox:

BU Embedded Insights Lead is responsible for leading all consumer and market intelligence for one of Clorox’s Business Units. This person is the insights integrator and key strategic advisor to the business. This role reports to BU Marketing Leader and represents the holistic voice of consumer through integrated consumer, brand, shopper, product, competitive and marketplace insights. Embedded Insights Lead grows and leverages BU Knowledge Base, develops and directs Learning Plan to deliver BU’s topline, profit, innovation, sustainability and other business objectives.

In this role, you will:

· Serves as insights integrator for the BU, offering strategic thought partnership to the GM, Marketing, Sales and R&D Studio Leadership.

· Ensures the business has a 360 degree view of the consumer and marketplace dynamics, and leverages it to maximize the outcome of business decisions.

· Sparks BU growth with best-in-class insights across core/base business and brands, innovation, category leadership, revenue growth management and other key business growth drivers.

· Manages, mines, synthesizes and grows BU’s Knowledge Base to ensure integrity and richness of insights. Continuously leverages existing and directs generation of new insights to inform business decisions.

· Develops Learning Plan as part of annual business planning cycle, maintains and updates Learning Plan at least on a quarterly basis.

· Directs execution of BU’s Learning Plan, orchestrating specialized resources across BU Embedded Insights, Dynamic Deployment, Shopper Insights, Insights Capabilities, Consumer Learning Center & Sensory, and external vendors.

· Advises Studio Lead on research needs required to deliver Business Plan and secures resources. Supports Studio Lean in finalizing research Briefs for Dynamic Deployment engagement.

· Maximizes insights ROI by managing resources efficiently.

· Develops strong cross-functional relationships and fosters integration of knowledge across the Clorox organization.

· Connects the BU and central Insights teams, promoting two-way knowledge flow and best practices. Influences total Insights, marketing and enterprise-level capability development priorities.

What we look for:

· 10+ years of market research experience

· Experience in CPG/FMCG categories strongly preferred

· Experience in Personal Care and/or Beauty categories is a plus

· Broad and deep research expertise across most facets of base/core brand, innovation, shopper, product and competitive intelligence

· Broad experience across the full range of market research methodologies (qual & quant), data and vendors

· Strong record of partnership with senior business stakeholders across Marketing, Sales and R&D and evidence of influencing strategic business decisions/outcomes

We are committed to fair and equitable pay and are transparent with current and future teammates about our full salary ranges. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $153,700 - $309,000

–Zone B: $140,900 - $283,300

–Zone C: $128,100 - $257,500

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
