We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team and support initiatives focused on email optimization, performance improvement, and innovation through AI-driven tools. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of lifecycle marketing, data analysis, and emerging technology, providing an opportunity to shape how we scale and personalize email communications at Achieve.
Objectives
The intern will support the following goals:
- Evaluate current email performance across key metrics (e.g., open rates, CTRs, conversion).
- Audit and analyze our email program end-to-end (journeys, segmentation, content).
- Research and summarize current industry best practices and trends in email marketing.
- Explore AI tools for content generation, subject line testing, send-time optimization, and personalization.
- Recommend improvements for automation workflows, targeting, and creative assets.
- Present findings and actionable insights to the marketing and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing email campaigns and flows.
- Benchmark our email metrics against industry standards.
- Research AI-enabled email tools (e.g., Phrasee, Seventh Sense, Jasper, Salesforce Einstein, etc.).
- Test and evaluate selected tools or strategies in a sandbox or low-risk environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (LCM, CRM Ops, Analytics, Product).
- Create documentation and playbooks for scalable best practices.
- Assist in drafting, testing, and scheduling email campaigns (as appropriate).
Qualifications
Ideal Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Science, or related fields (Students in College completing their Junior year to be Seniors in the fall of 2025).
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Passion for email marketing, digital trends, and marketing technology.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms is a plus. Comfort with data interpretation and storytelling.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and contribute.
Deliverables by End of Internship
- Email program health assessment and gap analysis report.
- AI tools landscape summary with recommendations.
- At least one implemented test or pilot leveraging AI or optimization insight.
- Presentation of key findings and roadmap ideas for future improvements.
