We are currently seeking a strong Email Marketing Specialist to join our current team.

Position Overview:

As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in implementing effective email marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing customer engagement and driving conversions for our direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. Initially, this position will be part-time with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Your responsibilities will include developing responsive email templates, managing email automations, and implementing advanced segmentation strategies to ensure targeted and meaningful communication with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design responsive, visually appealing email templates, primarily using Klaviyo.
  • Create and manage email automations to enhance customer engagement and conversion.
  • Implement email segmentation strategies and build targeted audience lists.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance using key email KPIs and industry trends.
  • Apply best practices in email marketing for DTC brands to drive performance and engagement.

What You Bring to the Table

  • At least 1 year of experience with Klaviyo or similar email service providers, preferably in an eCommerce setting.
  • Proven experience in building responsive and visually appealing email templates.
  • Demonstrated expertise in setting up and managing email automations.
  • Skilled in audience segmentation and creating targeted email lists.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, particularly within the DTC landscape.
  • Proficient in email reporting and analysis, with knowledge of key email performance indicators and trends.


Success Roadmap:

In the First 30 Days

  • Familiarize yourself with our email marketing tools and platforms, especially Klaviyo.
  • Review existing email campaigns and templates, understanding past performance metrics.
  • Start managing ongoing email automations and engage in initial segmentation activities.

Within 60 Days

  • Design and launch new email templates, incorporating feedback and emerging trends.
  • Expand and refine email segmentation strategies to improve targeting and personalization.
  • Begin regular reporting on campaign performance, identifying key insights for optimization.

By the 90-Day Mark

  • Demonstrate measurable improvements in email campaign performance through innovative strategies and optimizations.
  • Successfully manage multiple email campaigns with varying objectives, showing clear ROI from implemented strategies.
  • Establish a continuous improvement plan for email marketing efforts, including A/B testing and feedback loops.

Job Type

  • Part-time (20 hours per week)
  • Available to work during Eastern Time
  • Remote position with the potential for occasional on-site/off-site retreats
