General Description:

This candidate will assist in the development and scale-up of electrochemical semiconductor processes, work independently, follow detailed instructions, and suggest improvements to existing processes. Position will require frequent technical communication with team members, including oral and written reporting.


Essential Duties:

Run electrochemical and photoelectrochemical experiments, perform basic materials characterization analysis.

Analyze data and inform team on all relevant information related to experiments. 


Required Skills:

Applicant should have experience in wet chemical labs and operating electrochemical tools. 

Familiarity with photoelectrochemistry or semiconductor electrochemistry is preferred


Required Education:

Upper-division undergraduate or graduate student or currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field.


Physical Requirements:

Must be capable of standing in the lab and performing data analysis at computer workstations. 


Special Requirements:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.


Compensation:

The pay range for this position $43 - $48 per hour.
