EwingCole is a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, interior design and planning firm with offices across the country. Our multi-disciplinary practice is built on the core values of professional excellence, design quality and collaboration. We are seeking an Electrical EIT 1 to join our Irvine office.
The Electrical EIT 1 works with Project Engineers on multiple design and documentation tasks while gaining experience toward their P.E.
Essential Functions
- Document project design utilizing CAD and BIM
- Confer with project team members and other engineering personnel and prepares design modifications as required.
- Perform construction administration tasks (site visits, submittal reviews, RFI’s, field changes).
- Perform code research and establish project design criteria.
- Attend seminars and continuing education programs. Participate in design, analysis and documentation training as listed in the Discipline Training Guidelines.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or in Architectural Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.
- E.I.T. (or qualified to sit for E.I.T.)
- 0 to 3 years of experience
- Strong drafting documentation knowledge and company design standards
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit software
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic computer analysis skills
