Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Electrical Engineer for our LA - Woodland Hills office. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work and grow as a team player within a multi-discipline engineering firm.
Compensation and Benefits
- Approximate Base Salary – $75,000 - $90,000+ based on experience
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance
- Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution

QualificationsEssential Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field (with emphasis in power engineering preferred)
- Strong passion for or previous experience in the AEC (architectural, engineering and construction) industry
- Ability to research applicable codes in National Electrical Code, California Building Code, etc
- Report daily project status updates to senior engineer or project manager
- Ability to work independently with proper engineering oversight
- Ability to work and collaborate in larger project teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Registration as an E.I.T.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Power, lighting, communications design, and layouts utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD knowledge
- Awareness of, or experience with, load calculations, branch circuiting, voltage drop, short circuit calculations and photometric calculations
- Exposure to power system analysis software such as SKM, etap, etc.

- Must be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job, be persistent, and follow through in a consistent manner.
- Passionate about the client or pursuit and takes ownership of his/her work.

- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
