What you'll do here:

The Multimedia (Game) Developer & Platform Specialist will serve as a key partner in designing and creating engaging, interactive assets that enhance the organization's e-learning courses. This role requires a focus on developing and maintaining a global library of interactive tools and templates, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience for our Content Team and students taking our courses. Simultaneously, this individual will act as the in-house Learning Management System (LMS) expert, translating our team's needs into technical requirements, solving platform issues end-to-end, and driving new feature rollouts. By combining these responsibilities, the role provides end-to-end ownership of course delivery and fosters a deep and broad skillset across platforms and media.
 

Core Competencies you'll need:

  • Organized and proactive: comfortable juggling platform feature requests and interactive eLearning asset development requests.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Use creativity to develop innovative and engaging learning experiences. You'll work closely with Learning Designers and Subject Matter Experts to understand their needs and think "outside the box" to create solutions that elevate our educational content.
     
Required Technical Skills:
  • Solid familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in responsive and accessible design (WCAG 2.2 compliance)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
     
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Degree in Web Development, Web Design, Interactive Media, Multimedia Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in Learning Management System (LMS) Administration, e-learning multimedia production, or technical support.
     
Platform Specialist Key Responsibilities
  • Proprietary LMS expertise and advocacy
  • Master all features, configurations, and best practices of our proprietary Learning Management System (Learning Objects).
  • Translate organizational goals into platform requirements and work with stakeholders to prioritize them.
  • Collaborate with Technical Product Management and Engineering to scope, plan, and execute platform enhancements.
  • Communicate roadmaps, progress updates, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead discovery: define problems, frame questions, and build robust use cases.
  • Troubleshoot issues through replication, coordination of fixes, and validation of solutions.
     
Multimedia (Game) Developer Key Responsibilities
  • Develop interactive learning activities and simulations using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Apply usability and UX best practices to support learner engagement and comprehension.
  • Add new features to our existing global library elements, maintaining and expanding upon our core set of interactive tools and templates.
  • Create reusable code components for activity templates to streamline future development.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and multimedia teams to align interactivity with learning objectives.
  • Ensure learning activities have been designed and tested for accessibility (WCAG 2.2), browser/mobile compatibility, and responsiveness across devices.
  • Develop content with a template-based approach, creating reusable learning activities that can be customized across different disciplines.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.  Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$58,300.00 - $93,200.00 USD
