As an eLearning Developer at Neighborly, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality digital training materials that support the learning and development needs of our franchise network. The eLearning Developer will collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences. 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Design, develop, and implement instructional materials, courses, and training programs that align with company objectives. 

  • Utilize eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to create interactive and engaging training modules. 

  • Develop multimedia content including video scripts, presentations, workbooks, and assessments to enhance learning effectiveness. 

  • Apply instructional design models and adult learning principles to optimize training engagement and retention. 

  • Ensure training materials meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance) and company guidelines. 

LMS & Content Management 

  • Organize and maintain training materials within the Neighborly Learning Management System (LMS). 

  • Work closely with trainers to facilitate online learning experiences and track participation and engagement. 

  • Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials. 

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement 

  • Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness. 

  • Analyze training data and learner feedback to refine and improve instructional materials. 

  • Stay up to date on emerging eLearning technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance training programs. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance. 

  • Collaborate with internal training teams to align digital learning initiatives with overall training strategy. 

  • Support trainers in delivering online and blended learning experiences.

(Required qualifications)

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or training development. 

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content management. 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of instructional design models and adult learning theories. 

  • Proficiency in eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in an engaging and digestible manner. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

Schedule / in-office requirements:

  • Remote

  • 10% travel
