Roles and Responsibilities
- Individuals who provide day-to-day EHS support for service activities and projects and currently tend to report into a specific sector or P&L and cover this sector or P&L only. They are equivalent to plant level EHS professionals and provide immediate, direct support to field service employees that work at customer sites. Their jobs include things like training, inspections, customer interaction around planning and job execution. They are the first line contact for the field service engineers as they manage day to day EHS issues in service work. They typically do not have any direct reports.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
- In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
- A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in EHS or closely related field (OR High school diploma with 5 years experience in Wind Projects or Services)

- Demonstrated achievements with safety programs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Deep domain expertise in multiple High-Risk Operations example; Electrical Safety/LOTO, crane safety, construction safety, fall prevention, confined space.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate and drive change and interact cross-functionally
- Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS
- Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language.
- Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience
- Ability to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
- Trained to Global Wind Organization (GWO) standard
The salary range for this position is $ 85,500.00 - 114,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
