Position Summary

The Education and Technology Specialist assists the Director of Training and other key Training Team personnel with high-impact product learning experience for our Network of owners and hearing care practitioners. This cross-functional role assists the Director of Training as a liaison between the Training Team, Sales Team, Patient Experience, Practice Management, and Field Marketing to ensure best communication to assist in the development and execution of consistent, practical and measurable adoption of product knowledge, fitting best practices, and patient-centered workflows. The role combines advanced technical training, use of adult-learning principles, hybrid delivery capability (in-person + virtual), assistance to the Training Content Manager with content ideas and assistance in some content development via multi-mediums.

Primary Goals

  • Deliver measurable improvements in fitting success, product adoption, and practitioner confidence across the Beltone Network.
  • Assist Director of Training and Training Content Manager to align product content and field activities across Product, Sales, Patient Experience, Practice Management and Marketing.
  • Assist Training Content Manager and Online Education Manager in designing scalable hybrid learning experiences (CE live events, Boot Camp, online modules, microlearning) that reflect adult learning principles.
  • Support continuous improvement through using training metrics and field feedback to measure impact and improve programs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver live and virtual product training, Boot Camp, continuing education (CE) events, and microlearning for Network owners and hearing care practitioners.
  • Provide on-site and remote coaching and mentoring to Hearing Care Practitioners and other field teams - including product instruction, technology differentiation, soft skill sales techniques, diagnostic support, and follow-up learning paths.
  • Function as the go-to resource for product features, fitting software and common clinical scenarios; escalate product feedback and field intelligence to Director of Training, Training Team, and Product Management.
  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison: gather field and product requirements from network training, field experiences, and feedback from other key departments within Beltone to assist the Director of Training, Training Content Manager and Online Education Manager in translation into field-ready learning.
  • Assist with creation, update, and managing training assets: slide decks, facilitator guides, participant handouts, job aids, assessments, case studies, and short-form videos for Beltone University, Audiology Online, and other training channels.
  • Track training participation, outcomes and KPIs; produce post-event reports with actionable recommendations and share insights with Product, Sales, Patient Experience, and Practice Management.
  • Support national and regional conferences, trade shows and owner meetings as a presenter, facilitator, or content contributor when applicable.
  • Participate in GN technical training programs when applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Audiology, Au.D., or equivalent clinical education; extensive clinical experience in hearing instrument dispensing and fitting.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on dispensing and practitioner-facing training experience (field training, product training, or professional education).
  • Demonstrated public speaking and facilitation experience with live and virtual audiences.
  • Familiarity with hearing aid technology, fitting software and common troubleshooting workflows.
  • Proficiency with presentation tools PowerPoint, LMS platforms, (TrainCaster or similar), and basic multimedia creation tools.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to persuade cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with travel up to 60% (including occasional weekends or international for events).

Competencies & Skills

  • Computer skills and proficiency using PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted content tools and modern authoring tools (Articulate, and Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience analyzing learning data and applying metrics to improve outcomes.
  • Experience in cross department communication.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and blended learning design.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communicator with compelling storytelling and presentation abilities.
  • Diagnostic mindset with practical clinical problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and deliver on deadlines.
  • Collaborative, customer-centric mindset with careful attention to detail.

  • Approximately 60%

Pay Transparency Notice

  • The target annual compensation for this position can range from $85,000.00 - $100,000.00.
  • Compensation for roles at GN depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience
