What began as the aspirational source for couples getting married has grown into a cult fashion, home, and children’s shopping destination as well as an elevated wedding and baby registry provider. 

Over The Moon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Editorial & Social Media Intern to work 10+ hours per week (1-2 weekend hours). The ideal candidate has excellent writing and communication skills, is highly organized, and has a passion for weddings, fashion, lifestyle, and digital media.

Key Responsibilities:

Wedding Submission & Editorial Content Support

  • Manage wedding submission correspondence with couples, photographers, planners, and PR contacts
  • Maintain and update our weddings tracker in coordination with the editorial calendar
  • Enter couple-provided photo captions and assist with writing wedding feature articles
  • Correspond with couples to gather and incorporate two reviews before publishing
  • Build Dream Registry product grids and write accompanying editorial features
  • Assist the editorial team in managing project timelines via Asana

Instagram & Social Media Support

  • Create Instagram posts from image curation to caption writing, ensuring proper tags and shopping links are included
  • Post and tag Instagram Stories and grid content, occasionally including weekend coverage
  • Conduct photo research for archival content, red carpet looks, and inspiration posts
  • Assist in managing Dash Social for content scheduling and performance tracking

Requirements
  • Studying for a bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong grasp of grammar and storytelling
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva and comfort working with image curation and resizing
  • Interest in fashion, weddings, lifestyle, and digital content
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed
  • Eye for design, photography, and visual presentation a plus
