Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a midlevel to senior associate to join its rapidly growing Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group in the San Francsico, Palo Alto or New York office. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies and their founders throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as the funds that invest in them.  Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi-billion dollar technology market leaders. Candidates must have a minimum of four years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm and preferably experience in advising clients on venture financings, corporate governance, and regulatory strategy relating to AI, Web3, blockchain, crypto, metaverse, and other frontier technologies.  Candidates must also have stellar academic credentials and references, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. CA bar admission is required.

Compensation range: $310,000 to $420,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
