About the role

The Project Manager (PM) is a facilitator who works with various team members across multiple accounts, including projects and retained services. A PM understands the business goals that drive a project and manage the full delivery lifecycle to meet those goals. The PM role includes overseeing potential obstacles that may occur throughout development, such as budget deficits or timeline impacts or delayed resources and adjusting plans to either solve or work around those challenges. They also outline progress for the entire project to keep the client and internal teams informed and aligned with project goals, budget, and timeline. A PM pay help other team leads allocate resources throughout multiple projects and redistribute them as needed for each. They proactively communicate any changes in timeline or scope and any challenges to all involved stakeholders and make sure everyone is informed and aligned every step of the way.


What you'll do

  • Proactively manage client communications and expectations to ensure client satisfaction in partnership with internal teams
  • Facilitate the process for scope definition with the internal production team, including client requirements and deliverables
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans
  • Coordinate tasks, assign appropriate resources and ensure proper task completion
  • Manage the workflow of the technical production team including facilitating standup and sidebar meetings to ensure smooth and on-time delivery of SOW commitments
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to creatively solve problems and brainstorm solutions
  • Help manage schedules to facilitate required meetings both internally and client-facing
  • Identify risks, threats, or opportunities that could impact the success of the project, notifying the team, and escalating issues both internally and externally when appropriate
  • Identify deviations between project scope and desired deliverables, initiating change requests as needed
  • Alongside the internal team, establish a deep understanding of the client's business, processes, and procedures and apply that knowledge to support the project's success
  • Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects; share findings with other team members
  • Build and update bi-weekly reporting, scorecard dashboards and KPIs to measure and share performance to provide on-going status to both internal eHouse and client teams
  • Prepare and send various reports to clients and internal teams on a scheduled basis to ensure alignment throughout project and retainer lifecycles

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' Project Management experience
  • 3+ years' client facing experience, ideally with leadership and C-suite teams
  • Proven experience with Shopify Plus required
  • Proven experience and success managing multiple projects across distributed teams
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with an emphasis on Agile process
