Job Summary: 

Our Marketplace team oversees our 3rd party marketplace businesses (Amazon, Target) where customers can purchase from our incredible portfolio of Ruggable rugs.  We have highly ambitious plans to grow the business and are looking for a rockstar Ecommerce Manager, Amazon to help scale the businesses and optimize across top- and bottom-line metrics.  This role is both strategic and operational and requires someone who can think about the bigger picture while also rolling up their sleeves to get into the details to ensure flawless execution.  The right person balances systematic thinking, data-driven reasoning, and scrappy tenacity, can build a structured approach and conduct thorough data analysis to solve problems and has experience working with Amazon with premium and/or home brands.  This is a unique opportunity to operate at scale, with the speed and agility of a small start-up.  If you are energized by the idea of driving profitable growth and obsess over performance - we are looking for you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Support buildout of our comprehensive Marketplace strategy and plan across marketing & advertising, merchandising and assortment
  • Ideate, prioritize, and manage execution of key initiatives to deliver against KPIs
  • Help provide day-to-day oversight of our vendors to ensure growth and efficiency goals are met
  • Support creation and execution of strategic plans for major events like Prime Day
  • Provide leadership team with financial support, including buildout of performance dashboards
  • Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders and vendors
  • Be willing to roll up your sleeves when needed to help with execution

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • 5-8+ years of experience working with Amazon (e.g., brand side, agency, Amazon) or 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity
  • Strong business acumen and data analysis skills in Excel
  • Robust problem-solving skills
  • Must be a poised, professional communicator
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Proactive drive and ownership to grow the business

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience managing paid advertising on Amazon, including search and DSP
  • Amazon Advertising certified
  • Experience working with high AOV consumer brands, ideally in home
  • Experience working with complex catalogs
  • Passion for home / interiors

Compensation:

  • $115,000 - $130,000 per year base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
