About the role/team:

Our Learning Ops and Delivery organization leads this effort by leveraging a variety of learning methods and tools to extend our reach across the globe to our many locations and cultures. We're currently seeking a highly innovative and technically skilled E-Learning Media Specialist to join our collaborative Learning Design & Development team.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Learning Design and Development (LDD), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping engaging and impactful learning experiences. You'll partner with Learning Business Partners (LBPs), other LDD team members, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and deliver cutting-edge instructional materials, compelling training videos, and dynamic e-learning courses.
Your expertise in video production, multimedia design, and advanced e-learning authoring will be crucial in creating high-quality, intuitive learning experiences that resonate with our diverse global workforce and empower their growth and development.
What you'll do:
Video Production & Editing:
Partner with instructional designers, LBPs, and SMEs to create detailed storyboards, wireframes, and scripts, as well as gather necessary screenshots or screen recordings for training videos.
Guide presenters and SMEs through the video production process, providing best practices and coaching for effective delivery during recording sessions.
Edit and produce a wide variety of high-quality instructional videos, including system tutorials, how-to demonstrations, micro lessons, animated explainer videos, talking head/presenter videos, interviews, promotional videos, and interactive videos (with embedded quizzes, buttons, or branching scenarios), using tools like Camtasia and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition).
Integrate AI-generated voiceover's using tools like WellSaid Labs, Articulate 360, or Google Vids to enhance video narration and support media content maintenance.
Develop and incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to create polished and engaging video content.
E-Learning Authoring & Development:
Perform technical course builds using e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Captive, Articulate Storyline 360, and Rise, translating detailed outlines and storyboards into interactive, user-centered e-learning courses.
Utilize GenAI tools (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM, ChatGPT) to assist in content creation, scripting, ideation, and rapid prototyping of learning materials.
Implement various interactive elements, including simulations, branching scenarios, quizzes, and gamified activities.
Ensure all e-learning content is SCORM/xAPI compliant and optimized for seamless integration with our Learning Management Systems (Workday Learning, Skilljar, and Seismic Learning).
Multimedia & Graphic Design:
Create visually appealing presentations, job aids, graphics, illustrations, icons, and infographics for e-learning modules, presentations, videos, and supporting documentation using Adobe Creative Cloud tools (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).
Apply User Experience (UX) design principles to ensure intuitive navigation and an optimal learner journey within all materials.
Maintain brand consistency and visual standards across all learning assets.
Collaboration & Project Management:
Collaborate closely with Learning Business Partners and other members of the Learning Design & Development team, and SMEs, to translate learning needs into effective training content and execute technical course builds.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality standards. Lead content review and approval processes throughout the development cycle.
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, ensuring their learning needs are met with professionalism and responsiveness.
Leverage Google Workspace, MS Office, and Jira for collaborative documentation, project tracking, and communication.
Proactively stay informed about new technologies and trends in e-learning and multimedia development. You'll share new knowledge with the team and explore how we can leverage innovative tools to improve our content.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in e-learning development, multimedia production, and instructional design.
A portfolio showcasing your instructional design work and e-learning samples is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated Proficiency with:
Video Production: Experience facilitating video recording and production via video conferencing (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
Video Editing & Production Software: Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects.
AI Voice Generation: WellSaid Labs (or similar text-to-speech tools).
E-Learning Authoring Tools: Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline 360, and Rise.
Generative AI Tools: Gemini, NotebookLM, ChatGPT (or similar).
Graphic Design Software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Foundational Knowledge of:
Instructional Design and Adult Learning principles.
User Experience (UX) Design for digital learning environments.
Web and video accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508 compliance).
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
Outstanding customer service skills and a collaborative team player mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for custom e-learning interactions or learning portals.
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization to inform learning content effectiveness.
