E-commerce Strategy and Operations Manager, Amazon

The Role
You will play a pivotal role in amplifying our brand's visibility on Amazon. As an Amazon expert, your blend of analytical prowess and platform-specific know-how will elevate Pixi Beauty's digital presence and foster robust consumer connections.
Responsibilities
Amazon Operations:
- Daily Management: Oversee day-to-day operations for Pixi’s Amazon marketplace across all markets.
- Product Listings: Optimize product listings to ensure high visibility and engagement on Amazon.
- Issue Resolution: Navigate and resolve issues related to account standings, listing restrictions, or any Amazon-related challenges.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality visuals and content for Amazon listings.
- Campaigns: Manage campaigns on Amazon to increase sales and brand visibility.
- Brand Compliance: Ensure all listings align with Pixi's branding guidelines and adhere to Amazon-specific requirements.
Amazon Strategy:
- Performance Analysis: Analyze performance metrics to strategize and implement improvements in listing quality.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and launch a best-in-class Amazon go-to-market strategy.
- Market Research: Research and identify new platform features and opportunities for Pixi Beauty products.
- Growth Planning: Support quarterly strategic growth planning and present findings to the Senior Leadership Team.
- International Expansion: Expand into Amazon markets globally at pace (1 market per quarter minimum).
Coordination and Reporting:
- Product Availability: Partner with the operations team to ensure timely product availability and order fulfillment for Amazon orders.
- Performance Reports: Generate regular performance reports detailing sales volume, marketplace health, and customer reviews/feedback.
- Customer Service Liaison: Liaise with customer service to address and resolve product or delivery issues highlighted by customers on Amazon.
Team Collaboration:
- Digital Marketing Integration: Work closely with the digital marketing team to cohesively advertise and promote products on Amazon.
- Account Management: Collaborate with the EMEA account management team to ensure stock availability, pricing accuracy, and promotional consistency.
- Insight Sharing: Share insights from Amazon analytics with the wider team to inform broader marketing and sales strategies.
- Senior Management Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Management Team to enable maximum growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital sales or e-commerce, with a focus on managing Amazon listings.
- Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in Amazon marketplace management.
- Proficiency in analytics tools and the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Strong understanding of Amazon’s algorithms and search ranking factors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptable, proactive, and keen to work in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in using MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus.
- Experience in the beauty industry is preferred but not mandatory.
