About the role

Position: Associate, E-Commerce

Location: hello82 | Los Angeles, CA

Work Hours: M-F 9:30AM to 6:30PM


This role supports the execution and optimization of hello82’s e-commerce store. You will be responsible for building and maintaining product listings while analyzing e-commerce data to help improve conversion, merchandising, and overall store performance.

This is an execution-heavy role with an analytical component, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, data-curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment with frequent releases and updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, update, and maintain Shopify product pages, including titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, tags, and metadata
  • Build and manage collections aligned with merchandising strategy (e.g., artist, category, release, campaigns)
  • Support product launches by preparing listings, quality assurance, and coordinating timelines with internal teams
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across product information, pricing, and visual assets
  • Maintain documentation and SOPs related to product setup and Shopify workflows
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, revenue, and product-level performance
  • Build and maintain reports and trackers using analytics tools
  • Analyze trends in product, category, and campaign performance
  • Identify opportunities for optimization (e.g., product page improvements, pricing, bundling, merchandising)
  • Translate data insights into clear recommendations for commerce and marketing teams
  • Work closely with commerce, marketing, creative, and operations teams to support launches and campaigns
  • Support release-week execution by ensuring product readiness and accuracy
  • Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues in product setup and analytics workflows
  • Propose and help implement process improvements and templates
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines across concurrent releases
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a high-volume environment
Qualifications
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in e-commerce, analytics, operations, or a related field
  • Fluent in Shopify or similar e-commerce platform
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage large workloads and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable in high-speed, frequently changing environment
Nice to Have
  • Experience with GA4, Looker Studio, or similar analytics tools
  • Experience with A/B testing or experimentation frameworks
  • Understanding of merchandising or retail principles
  • Experience in music, entertainment, or consumer products
