Your role on the team:
- Monitors team productivity in the preparation and filing of client’s drawback claims.
- Establishes new drawback clients.
- Manages day to day drawback functions
- Evaluates current drawback functions and identifies areas for improvement to increase productivity
- Maintains high compliance related to the accuracy and filing of drawback claims
- Keeps abreast of new CBP regulations and industry best practices
- Manages requests from CBP and ensures all are actioned timely.
- Initiates and manages start up processes for new drawback clients
- Provides training to the drawback team handling new drawback accounts
- Resolve problems and implement corrective action
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university preferred
- Minimum 4 to 7 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Brokerage License required for Customs Brokerage managers
- Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to negotiate profitable partner relationships with regional and National logistics clients
