DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST

If you are looking for a challenging opportunity that allows you to develop and learn in a stable and growing organization…come joins us as a Documentation Specialist.  Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area and we are currently seeking a Documentation Specialist for a full-time position remotely supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

Required Experience :

  • Five (5) years relevant experience
  • Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information.
  • Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology.
  • Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and nontechnical personnel.
  • For applications built to run in a Windows environment, uses the standard help compiler to prepare all online documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work independently or under only general direction.
  • Experience in technical writing and documentation pertaining to all aspects of IT.
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation, including conducting research on applicable standards.

Position Sensitivity:

  • Non-Critical Sensitive (Formerly IT-II or IT-2)
  • Investigation Requirements: Must possess a favorable Tier 3 (T3) NACLC/ANACI at time of proposal submission.

Salary range : $63K
