Cozen O'Connor is seeking a full-time Document Specialist to join our Document Production Center (DPC). This remote position supports attorneys and legal staff by producing, formatting, revising, and managing a variety of legal documents while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM ET
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET
- 35 hours per week
Transcribe, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, reports, and digital dictation.
Utilize Adobe Acrobat Pro for PDF conversion, editing, OCR, Bates numbering, file management, and document production tasks.
Prepare mail merges and format documents using DocXtools, Litera, Best Authority, and other legal technology tools.
Create tables of contents, tables of authorities, bookmarks, hyperlinks, and electronic closing binders.
Produce professional PowerPoint presentations, complex Excel spreadsheets, timelines, and organizational charts using Word, Visio or PowerPoint.
Support DocuSign, E-Notary, Page Vault, and other document management processes.
Enter attorney time.
Assist with additional projects as assigned.
Minimum 3 years of document production or word processing experience.
Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Windows 10/11, Outlook, and iManage or a comparable document management system.
Experience with legal document formatting, proofreading, and production software preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
