As a Product Manager at Micron Technology, Inc. in the Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU), you will be charged with driving execution of the products in high bandwidth memory (HBM) portfolio that will position Micron for success in growing the Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and High-Performance Computing (HPC) business segments. You will be working on leading-edge technologies to enable next generation high bandwidth memory (HBM) products and drive customer focused innovation.
You will lead a cross-functional team of key representatives from multiple engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the execution of product is aligned to spec within a specific timeline and budget. You will assist the Product Management team in defining the strategy and vision of the product portfolio and drive the execution focused Stage Gates when necessary.
Ideal candidates are ambitious leaders with a strong Business plus Engineering background and analytical skills who "own" all aspects of the execution and possess good communication skills to drive the cross functional team towards the business goals. Products managers in this role will be self-starters with a can-do attitude who can apply their critical thinking ability to drive the best possible outcome.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and requirements definition for next-generation HBM solutions targeting AI, HPC, and cloud infrastructure markets
  • Partner with customers, hyperscalers, AI accelerator providers, and ecosystem partners to translate future memory needs into product requirements and business plans
  • Analyze market trends, customer workloads, competitive dynamics, and system architectures to influence product direction and technology investments
  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver products aligned with business objectives, timelines, and specifications
  • Create executive presentations, business cases, roadmap reviews, and strategic recommendations to support leadership decisions and customer engagements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field
  • 12+ years of experience in semiconductor product management, system architecture, engineering, business strategy, or related technical leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of DRAM technologies, High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), AI accelerators, advanced packaging technologies, and the semiconductor ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, influence roadmap decisions, and develop business cases based on customer and market insights
  • Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders without direct authority, along with willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline or MBA
  • Experience working directly with hyperscalers, strategic customers, and ecosystem partners in AI, cloud computing, or HPC markets
  • Strong understanding of system-level tradeoffs involving memory bandwidth, capacity, performance, power, packaging complexity, and total cost of ownership
  • Experience conducting competitive intelligence, technology assessments, and long-range portfolio planning within the semiconductor industry
  • Demonstrated success presenting strategic recommendations, product roadmaps, and market insights to executive audiences and customers .

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$161,000.00 - $340,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
