The Role

As a Field Account Manager – Territory Sales, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for key dealership accounts. You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships, driving adoption of Solera’s solutions, and delivering measurable results. This role is focused on account retention, revenue growth, and expanding product usage across assigned territories.

What You'll Do

Client Engagement & Account Growth:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership stakeholders (DPs, GMs, etc.)
  • Present Solera’s products and align solutions with client business goals
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and drive adoption through strategic consultation

Sales Execution

  • Manage a dynamic sales pipeline; identify and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Lead onboarding, retention, and marketing campaign enrollment for assigned accounts

Territory & Account Management

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with corporate objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and sales activity in Salesforce.com
  • Travel up to 75% to build client relationships and close deals

Analysis & Strategy

  • Analyze dealership performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Recommend product or program enhancements to improve results
  • Share industry insights and trends to support client success

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Product, Support, Engineering, etc.)
  • Capture client feedback and communicate updates or resolutions clearly
  • Ensure all documentation, reports, and communications are timely and accurate

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in the automotive dealership industry (DMS knowledge a plus)
  • Proven success in B2B sales, account management, or territory sales
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently under pressure
