The Maritime Division is fielding the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to tackle the extremely challenging industry demands of seabed exploration. Anduril has brought to market a unique, ultra-long-range, modular, multi-purpose platform that scales from “large” to “extra-large” vehicle sizes. Our division is truly global, with teams and contracts spanning across Australia, the US, and the UK (i.e. Ghost Shark, LD Scaled Production, XL Scaled Production).
As our team continues to quickly grow, we are looking for motivated candidates that are inspired to work within an extremely energetic, creative, and innovative team that is passionate about subsea robotics and exploring the open ocean. We are seeking an individual to support Division Operations—this team is focused on driving improvements and innovation across multiple facets of our division. This role is perfect for a versatile, analytical, big-picture thinker who thrives on connecting the dots between manufacturing, engineering, people operations, business development, and a myriad of other operational aspects to achieve global excellence. The ability to build trust quickly in a fast-paced environment and execute with high dependability is critical to success in this role.
What You’ll Do
- Use your quantitative and qualitative skill set to lead strategic initiatives and projects as directed by the Head of Division Operations, ensuring they align with the division’s goals and priorities
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive change management efforts
- Facilitate the decision-making process by analyzing data, coordinating information flow, and ensuring communication clarity
- Project manage across many stakeholders. If you don’t like being the person leading meetings with large groups of people or managing large Slack channels to wrangle stakeholders towards a solution, this may not be the role for you
- Coordinate and prepare for executive leadership meetings, including setting agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in investment banking, operations at an early-stage start-up, or similar
- You get energy from being a thought partner for others and it excites you to spend time translating operational problems into data problems, and to then going and executing on them
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
- Proven track record of being self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t wait on others to solve problems, you proactively step into the gap to propose solutions yourself
- You lean into acknowledging your weaknesses and take the idea of feedback and growth seriously
- You’re both high ownership and low ego, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
- Minimum 25% travel expected
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- International work experience
US Salary Range
$140,000—$195,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
