Job Description Summary:
In conjunction with the National Field Sales Manager, OnStar, the District Manager, OnStar will deploy initiatives towards the achievement of OnStar activation targets (Online Enrollment, Welcome Call, Mobile App usage, Super Cruise, etc.) on both new and used vehicles as well as drive revenue in subscriptions, Guardian and data sales. This position works closely with General Motors dealership owners, management and sales staff as well as internal VSSM (Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing) teams. This collaboration works to drive adjacency and subscription growth for the new, used and fleet automotive business units.
This position requires the District Manager, OnStar to develop and provide in-dealership training on best practices, activation and sales processes as well as education on technology and service offerings.
Responsibilities:
  • Become the OnStar & Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned District
  • Establish and grow relationships with your respective dealerships to drive excellence and results for OnStar KPIs
  • Provide ongoing dealer education to support their delivery of a seamless customer onboarding experience
  • Support project initiatives to improve OnStar onboarding, subscriber count and revenue
  • Conduct monthly performance analysis by leveraging analytics to identify opportunities and support the creation of dealer action plans
  • Support planning and execution of countermeasures designed to hit monthly and annual KPIs
  • Support creation of sales and marketing material for customers, dealerships and fleet sales staff
  • Conduct training for General Motors dealership and wholesale teams including demonstrations of existing and new OnStar products and services
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Compliance with all processes and training required by GM Canada

Education & Experience Required:
  • Successful completion of a University degree (Business/Marketing) or relevant experience equivalent
  • Proven Sales/Account/Channel Management experience
  • Driving sales performance in B2B an asset
  • Experience working with Automotive Dealership Managers considered an asset
  • Bilingual an asset
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $76,100.00 to $114,300.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
