This is a remote position.

Paradigm is seeking a Disbursement Supervisor to support our client, a global leader in the legal services space. Customer service and stakeholder communication are crucial as a large portion of time will be spent interacting with internal and external partners via phone and email.

 

Type: 12 Month Contract

Pay Rate: $30-$32/hr

Location: Remote – open to any of the Approved States: Arizona, Washington DC, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin


Responsibilities of the Disbursement Supervisor:

 

60% – Operations & Management

  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Oversee daily operations to deliver timely, accurate outputs.
  • Establish and enforce anti-fraud controls and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage banking relationships and operational access.
  • Supervise staff, assign work, and resolve technical/subject-matter problems.
  • Identify training needs and deliver team/individual training.

30% – Team Development & Cost Optimization

  • Track productivity and implement efficiency/cost-reduction measures.
  • Deliver and coordinate internal/external training.
  • Provide coaching and career development for direct reports.
  • Run team meetings and one-on-ones; represent Disbursements in cross-functional forums.
  • Coordinate with other teams to meet shared deliverables.

10% – Reporting, Compliance & Projects

  • Review/approve SOPs, process maps, time entries, and PTO for direct reports.
  • Prepare reports for management, Client Services, and Operations.
  • Support project implementations and complete required training/compliance tasks.


Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in finance-related roles
  • 3+ years supervising a team
  • Experience with Qualified Settlement Funds, Trusts, and/or Escrow Accounts (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate+ Excel)
  • Strong written, oral, and listening communication skills
  • Demonstrated team leadership and coaching ability
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Able to adapt in a fast-changing environment and work independently
