Job Summary
The Director of Wholesale Operations will oversee logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution strategy for BaRupOn’s wholesale business lines. This role ensures smooth operations from vendor sourcing to last-mile delivery while maintaining cost-efficiency, customer service excellence, and regulatory compliance. Ideal for operations professionals with experience in high-volume supply chains and B2B distribution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day operations of wholesale fulfillment centers and third-party logistics providers
- Oversee inventory planning, procurement coordination, and cycle count programs
- Manage staff for warehouse, logistics, and order processing functions
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and compliance teams on pricing, shipping, and quality assurance
- Monitor KPIs related to fulfillment speed, inventory turnover, and customer order accuracy
- Select and manage logistics partners, freight carriers, and warehousing vendors
- Implement systems for tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Ensure OSHA, DOT, FDA, and state-level compliance (where applicable)
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in wholesale, warehousing, or distribution operations
- Strong leadership, process improvement, and inventory management skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems, WMS platforms, and e-commerce logistics tools
- Experience managing shipping compliance, vendor contracts, and fulfillment SOPs
- Ability to travel regionally between warehouses and vendor sites
- Experience in energy, healthcare, or industrial product distribution
- Working knowledge of import/export regulations and freight logistics
- Lean Six Sigma or supply chain certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CLTD)
- Bilingual a plus for warehouse team and vendor communications
