Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and passionate Director, UX Design  to join our team who has a deep understanding of UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams. As a UX Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client’s global dot-com presence by defining design strategies and leading the creation of cohesive, end to end, human centered experiences. To be successful in this role, you should have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of current UX trends.

You will be responsible for project engagements including deliverables such as concepts, wireframes, interactive prototypes, specifications, engagement agreements, and timelines.
Craft user experiences alongside key product stakeholders to understand and support product business goals, advocating user centered design industry best practices and effectively managing design resources.
Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts, interactions, and user flows.
Develop visually appealing and brand consistent designs, including layouts, typography, and graphics.
Work closely with cross functional teams including developers, project managers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
Work closely with the design team to implement enterprise level design systems similar to the Carbon Design System in all solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You must bring a strong technical background, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to think strategically and holistically. If you have a passion for technology, user experience, and driving innovative solutions, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

  • Proven experience as a UX Director or senior level UX practitioner with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • 8+ years leading UI and UX design for enterprise scale digital platforms
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, primarily Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
    Strong understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and human centered design
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards WCAG and best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills
  • Experience working with design systems
  • Strict brand guidelines and UX best practices knowledge
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of design pattern trends and best practices
  • Innovative and collaborative mindset, adaptable to fast paced, ever evolving creative environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience working with design systems such as Carbon Design System
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager AEM and Adobe Target

Education
Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Digital Experience, Interaction Design, or related field preferred
