Your New Role...
WBD seeks a Director to join the US Nets AVOD Business & Operations team to lead strategic execution of commercial and growth initiatives across ad-supported business lines, including TVE, VOD, and Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) business.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of AVOD Business & Operations, this is an integral cross-functional role working closely with Distribution, Ad Sales, Programming, Marketing, and operational teams. The Director will develop and drive growth initiatives with in-depth knowledge and consideration of partner platforms, relationships, deal terms and monetization strategies.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Develop and lead execution of cohesive AVOD commercial strategy (how we monetize) in close partnership with Distribution, Program Sales, Ad Sales, Business Strategy and other contributing teams.
- Drive strategy to leverage AVOD platforms to advance value creation for WBD priorities, making recommendations to leadership, owning execution, reporting results and applying learnings.
- Support daily and strategic partner management activities, identifying opportunities to efficiently capitalize on growth and KPI-driving activities.
- Partner with Business, Program Management & Programming leads to identify and execute innovation opportunities aligned to growth objectives.
- Ensure daily operations align with deal/partnership commitments across programming, promotion, monetization, graphics, etc.
- Create, update, and maintain exec-ready slides and presentations to communicate growth & commercial strategy, execution, results and recommendations with clarity and effectiveness.
- Support daily partner operations opportunities, issues, and questions.
- Support ex-US (int'l) teams in alignment of FAST agreement terms, commitments, and other commercial operations, as needed.
- Partner with Sr. Director to evolve the AVOD business strategies and operations.
- Foster a positive and motivating team culture.

Qualifications & Experience...
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience in TV/entertainment business strategy, operations, digital distribution, business development or related discipline with a track record of high performance
- Strong familiarity and comfortability with digital distribution agreements and terms
- Working knowledge of digital ad sales strategy, operations, and forecasting
- Successful track record of Go-To-Market strategy and planning
- History of owning strategy and execution of large cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Data-driven, with the ability to distill large data sets into actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to collect information, problem solve and suggest appropriate decisions that will benefit the customer and the product/business
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task and resolve issues in timely manner
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or other presentation / slide development
- Highly proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Outstanding communication skills: written, verbal and listening
- In-depth knowledge of the streaming landscape a plus; interest and curiosity a must!
- Experience working at a digital-first company; knowledge and interest in cutting-edge digital media space with enthusiasm for new technologies and curiosity to learn
- Proven leader with success and experience directing and mentoring others
- Self-starter who is proactive, resourceful, collaborative, and willing pitch in when required
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment; comfortable working under time constraints and pressure
- Thrives working both independently and within a team

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $113,750.00 - $211,250.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
