UTA seeks an experienced and highly organized Travel Director to oversee and coordinate all aspects of business travel in our Los Angeles office. The Travel Manager will be responsible for developing travel policies, negotiating with vendors, ensuring cost-effective travel arrangements, and supporting employees throughout the travel process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have strong knowledge of travel logistics and corporate policies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record building a center of excellence within a global company while continuously improving systems, processes, resources, pricing and vendor network.

The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $185,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do

  • Develop, implement, and manage company travel policies and procedures

  • Negotiate with travel vendors (airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, etc.) to secure the best rates and corporate discounts

  • Ensure travel arrangements comply with company policies and budget constraints

  • Manage and monitor the travel budget, tracking expenditures and providing cost reports

  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting.

  • Provide travel-related advice and recommendations to employees and management

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to corporate travel

  • Maintain records of all travel bookings and expenses for auditing purposes

  • Uses effective communication skills to drive change and share the travel program's value proposition

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field strongly preferred

  • Proven experience as a Travel Executive or similar role

  • Strong negotiation skills with experience working with travel vendors

  • Knowledge of travel booking platforms and software (e.g., Concur and/or Sabre)

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle travel emergencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Experience managing travel for large organizations

  • Entertainment agency experience is a plus but not required
