Job Title: Director, Technology

Job Summary:
The Director, Technology is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's technology infrastructure, optimizing business systems, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance. This position will drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust technology solutions that align with the organization's goals with an emphasis on leveraging modern tools and AI solutions while safeguarding data, systems, and operations from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Develop and implement strategies for the design, maintenance, and scalability of technology infrastructure.
- Oversee network, server, cloud, and on-premises systems to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and align with future needs.
Business Systems Oversight:
- Lead the optimization and integration of business systems to streamline operations and support organizational growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs across departments.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and management of enterprise software and tools with a focus on modern, data-driven systems and AI-powered capabilities.
Cybersecurity Compliance:
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and protocols in alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
- Implement risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and remediation strategies to maintain a secure IT environment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and work with auditors and regulators as needed.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team that embraces innovation, continuous learning, and the thoughtful adoption of emerging AI and other technologies.
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology strategies with business objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and ensure service quality.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience implementing and managing enterprise business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale technology projects and drive organizational change.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience and a strong awareness of AI tools that improve technical operations, efficiency, or decision-making.
Salary Range: $130,000-$170,000
