We are seeking a Director of Technical Program Management in software organization with outstanding abilities to lead all aspects of the development and execution of program management strategies, ensuring efficient progress across big and complex technical projects. This role demands implementing scalable frameworks to support growth, inventing new ways for program scaling, encouraging a culture of learning and proactive problem-solving, and improving communication and collaboration practices. This crucial role will give you a rare opportunity to make an impact across many industries by delivering GPU accelerated software platforms and realizing the groundbreaking potential of NVIDIA systems for Embedded, Automotive and DataCenter industries. The right candidate will deeply understand software development methodologies and demonstrate an excellent track record of exceeding project expectations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, mentor and grow Technical Program Management team encouraging TPMs to anticipate challenges and act decisively.

  • Define, lead and own the technical execution strategy for a large engineering organization, across multiple products and multiple platforms.

  • Apply the right balance of technical and leadership skills to efficiently collaborate with engineering teams, program and product management teams and customers/partners.

  • Deeply understand technology and products, influence technical and business strategy for the organization, and ultimately ensure that program and product goals are met or exceeded.

  • Regularly communicate program status and drive visibility of program information, ensuring communication of objectives, timelines, and risks to all collaborators

  • Continuously identify improvement opportunities in new and established processes, and lead change across multiple teams and functions.

  • Architect and implement efficient and scalable program management processes and frameworks to support organizational growth and technical demands.

  • Develop metrics and KPIs to track and improve program execution and efficiency

  • Pursue every task with drive and appropriate sense of urgency. Consistently move problems toward resolution and help others do the same.

What we need to see:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including 8+ years in technical leadership roles.

  • BS or higher in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • Proven history of successfully leading, building and scaling technical program/project management teams and operations in a big dynamic matrix organization.

  • Excellent understanding of software development process and methodologies with outstanding organizational competence to balance multiple large simultaneous workstreams.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and tactically and build consensus to make programs successful.

  • Strong examples of a proactive approach in risk management, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.

  • Outstanding ability of creating and maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring transparency in sophisticated project ecosystems.

  • Consistent track record of implementing and leading agile practices in software development environments.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in design and development of System Software Stack and SDKs

  • Strong technical background in program management or software development of products using cameras, graphics, multimedia, computer vision, artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies.

  • Experience in developing safety certified software within automotive or medical industry

  • Evidence of a forward-thinking mentality in preemptively navigating project complexities and interdependencies.

  • A history of leading large and complex software programs that go above and beyond and deliver measurable business impact through efficient operations.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 425,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
