Who We Are Looking For

As a Director of Product Management, Technical for WebPT, you see a larger picture of the technical components that drive solution development, APIs and interoperability. You will lead and define the company strategy on integrations, interoperability and intersections with our platforms. You will also work with executives within WebPT to enable a world class strategy around APIs, Healthcare Information Exchange and the technical underpinnings of our solutions.


What You’ll Be Doing As A Part of Our Team

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the organization and our members around all things integration and interoperability. You will strategize on how to productize APIs and Healthcare Information Exchange. This will require lock step alignment with other product leaders and engineering leadership.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and market trends related to APIs and interoperability in the healthcare space.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape to identify gaps and opportunities for WebPT's integration and interoperability offerings, ensuring the company maintains a competitive advantage.
  • Manage the end-to-end definition of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for all platform features.
  • Set the interoperability strategy and roadmap for WebPT.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog for the integration teams, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy and business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX/Design, and other cross-functional teams to guide the successful delivery and launch of products with a technical lens.
  • Create and grow product offerings around APIs, including how our members might leverage them in the future for their own differentiation.
  • Monitor the financial performance of product offerings, including pricing, revenue growth, and cost-of-delivery, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Lead cross departmental meetings and build relationships across the organization.
  • Work closely with business leaders on creating a vision and associated business cases.
  • Contribute to the strategy for acquired companies/products into our core platform related to interoperability and integrations.

What You Should Have to Qualify

  • 10 years of experience in a senior/lead role,
  • Experience hiring and mentoring teams focused on delivering products, AI/ML, and enterprise interoperability strategies.
  • Setting company and product strategy related to interoperability.
  • Technical understanding of APIs, Healthcare Information Exchange technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and requirements — including FHIR, HL7, and related data exchange protocols — and how they shape product strategy and technical decision-making.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as ONC (Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT) certification requirements and the 21st Century Cures Act.
  • Experience defining or documenting API specifications for internal or external integrations
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts, tools, techniques and scenarios to all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise level data management and the latest tools and approaches.
  • Understand the use of data for decision making and ensure its utilization, when appropriate.

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

  • Experience with healthcare data
  • Experience with AI, Agentic AI and/or LLMs
  • Experience with master data management and data governance.

While job postings offer a pay range as a general reference, the final offer depends on candidate qualifications and experience. During interviews, we'll discuss your qualifications and expectations, striving for a competitive and fair offer. The initial hiring range for this position is: $143,000 - $200,000.
