What's your role?
As the Director of Technical Integrations, you'll be instrumental in shaping the integrations we build for our real estate partners and how they interact with them. You will lead the lifecycle of a partner setup, giving confidence in product usage, while working closely with our client management, product, and engineering teams to spearhead new initiatives that tie back to overall business objectives. While this person has a strong technical acumen, they must also show a self-starter attitude, relationship management skills, and creative problem-solving. Experience with property management systems is a plus.
In this role, you will...
  • Be an expert on complex integrations, including APIs, and be able to present these concepts concisely to our client management team, executive leadership, and the real estate partner.
  • Work in a rapid-pace environment to troubleshoot production issues, analyze urgency for escalation, collaborate across internal teams, and document bugs, focusing on driving solutions through completion.
  • Jump in as needed to uncover root causes, create ad hoc reports, and identify solutions from scoping through implementation.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams by creating internal and external training material, such as configuration setup guides, FAQ documents, and flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering on ticket documentation, creating test plans, performing end-to-end validation in test environments, and monitoring data after deployments.
  • Have a base knowledge of SQL and Postman to quickly validate information and resolve integration issues.

Benefits:
  • Compensation - We offer a competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity and our performance bonus program
  • Health insurance for you (& your loved ones) from day one - Enjoy a One Medical Membership, wellness stipends, family programs and more, on us. We've got you and your family covered from day one.
  • 401k plan with a match - Retirement may feel more like a pipe dream than a reality but we're here to help you get there.
  • Commuter FSAs - We believe the best ideas come from being together in one place. We just don't think getting there should be so expensive.
  • UNLIMITED PTO - Because we believe that working hard shouldn't mean always working. Take time for you as often as you need it.
  • Exclusive Employee only Bilt Points - We give our employees unique opportunities to earn points throughout their time at Bilt.
  • Team Events - We believe in human connection so we hold events to help our employees break from the monotony of the typical work week.

At Bilt Rewards, we believe in transparency and we do our best to make sure the company and our candidates are on the same page as it relates to compensation. In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt's salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations.
We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process.
Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you can grow your salary over time.
The salary range for a Director, Technical Integrations is $150,000 - 165,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
