Job Summary:

The Director, Tax Finance will lead ProPharma's tax strategy, planning, and compliance functions. This role is responsible for managing all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws, and optimizing the company's tax position.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax returns.
  • Manage tax audits and disputes, working closely with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Provide strategic tax planning advice to senior management and other departments.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the company and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Lead and mentor the tax finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and financial statement disclosures.
  • Evaluate and implement tax technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax processes.
  • Represent the company in tax-related discussions with external stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive experience in tax finance, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful tax strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
