Position Summary

The MBCS Influencer and Talent Content team is responsible for harnessing the authority and reach of talent and influencers to create engaging and effective marketing programs for UM, Initiative, and Kinesso clients. The team is engaged in every step of the process:

• Strategically identifying & recommending talent
• Talent outreach, negotiation, and trafficking of contracts
• Creative briefing & ideation
• Flawless execution & reporting

As a Director on our team, you will be primarily dedicated to one of our top-tier clients and their ongoing influencer strategy, planning and execution needs.
Your expertise should be in influencer & content marketing, campaign management and client services, with at least five years doing just that. Your work style should entail impeccable attention to detail and planning, strong organization and communication skills, and a process-driven approach toward achieving objectives.

This role can be based in NYC or LA.

Responsibilities

• Strategically identify and recommend talent in accordance to the client’s audience, brand, brief, budget and cultural moments
• Manage all talent outreach, negotiations and contracting to bring exceptionally efficient rates and plans to each client
• Partner with talent and creative directors to develop creative that adheres to each client’s brief and is endemic to the talent’s brand/followers
• Oversee the creative execution from start to finish - managing all timelines & deadlines, production and approval needs for all parties, and ensuring a smooth and on-time launch
• Coordinate all aspects of talent needs for live shoots or events, such as travel arrangements, glam, b-roll and on-site content approval. Employee travel may be required.
• Provide expert POVs and recommendations every step of the process to instill confidence in clients and talent, and ensure the most optimal creative and execution outcomes
• Wrap up every campaign with data, insights and recommendations
• Liaise and communicate effectively with all parties at all times, which will include clients, talent + their management/production teams, and MBCS partners (content leads, creatives, production and finance)

Desired Skills & Experience

• At least seven years professional experience with at least five of them working in influencer and content marketing, campaign management and client services
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced media-centric corporate environment
• Impeccable attention to detail and planning
• Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, complete tasks and initiatives
• Excellent communicator who can work effectively with partners at all levels
• Resourceful; great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of influencer/content campaign measurement
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and using influencer data platforms
• Travel may be required

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
