We are seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our hiring strategy and strengthen our recruiting function. Reporting to the VP of HR, this role will drive alignment between talent acquisition and workforce planning, enhance recruiting operations end-to-end, and will be directly responsible for end-to-end hiring for critical leadership and high-impact roles.

What you’ll be doing: 

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

  • Design and execute a forward-looking hiring strategy that aligns with business objectives, growth targets, and workforce plans
  • Translate organizational priorities into actionable recruiting plans, ensuring we are proactively positioned to attract and secure top talent across key functions
  • Partner closely with People, Finance, and departmental leaders to forecast demand, identify capability gaps, and build a sustainable talent pipeline

Operational Excellence:

  • Optimize the full recruiting lifecycle; from requisition intake and sourcing to selection and onboarding; ensuring consistency, speed, and quality of hire
  • Evaluate and refine recruiting infrastructure, tools, workflows, and performance metrics to drive scale and efficiency
  • Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making, track progress, and continuously improve outcomes

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and develop the Senior Lead of Recruiting and broader recruiting resources, cultivating a high-performing, collaborative team culture
  • Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and build capabilities within the team to meet evolving talent needs

Critical and Executive Hiring:

  • Personally lead or support searches for business-critical and senior-level roles, acting as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders

Stakeholder Partnership & Communication:

  • Build strong relationships with leaders across the organization to align on hiring priorities, gain buy-in, and ensure seamless execution
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior leadership on hiring progress, challenges, and market trends
Qualifications to be successful in this role: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years leading and scaling recruiting teams
  • Proven ability to design and lead enterprise-wide hiring strategies and talent initiatives
  • Strong background in process design, recruiting operations, and recruiting technology systems
  • Skilled at influencing and building trust with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in hiring for senior and critical roles across diverse functions
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on accountability, metrics, and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at MyFitnessPal ranges from $160,000 - $185,000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, MyFitnessPal offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, parental planning, mental health benefits, annual performance bonus, a 401(k) plan and match, responsible time off, monthly wellness and technology allowances, and others.
