Job Description:

Read this part first

This is a role for someone who wants to own the strategic marketplace intersection of client demand, panel capabilities, partner networks, and platform functionality. We are looking for a Director, Supply Operations to build and optimize Prodege supply ecosystem. This is a deeply analytical, hands-on leadership role. You lead by diagnosing delivery bottlenecks, designing supply strategies, and optimizing marketplace unit economics, not by staying at a high-level theoretical layer.

If you prefer static operational oversight, this is not the role for you. But if you are a marketplace strategist who owns the supply lifecycle end-to-end, from demand forecasting and partner performance management to survey routing optimization and gross margin expansion, keep reading.

You will manage the supply architecture for a global platform serving over 120 million registered users. Supported by a sophisticated data infrastructure and our Blackstone investment in early 2026, you will have the mandate and resources needed to build a scalable, high-efficiency supply network. If you enjoy solving complex supply and demand puzzles, working across product, analytics, and revenue teams, and driving operational profitability, this role is for you.

Prodege

A cutting-edge marketing and consumer insights platform, Prodege has charted a course of innovation in the evolving technology landscape by helping leading brands, marketers, and agencies uncover the answers to their business questions, acquire new customers, increase revenue, and drive brand loyalty and product adoption. Bolstered by a major investment by Blackstone in the first quarter of 2026, Prodege looks forward to more growth and innovation to empower our partners to gather meaningful, rich insights and better market to their target audiences.

What you will own

  • The end-to-end supply strategy across proprietary panels, third-party partners, and emerging supply channels

  • The health, efficiency, and delivery reliability of Prodege supply marketplace

  • The business requirements and product roadmap priorities for supply allocation, routing, profiling, and inventory management tools

  • Supply ecosystem economics, including effective cost per complete, gross margin tracking, supplier cost management, and profitability by audience segment

  • Cross-functional alignment between sales demand forecasts and operational supply capabilities

What makes this role exciting

  • You will directly shape the supply strategy that powers fulfillment for top enterprise accounts and market research operations globally

  • You will solve high-complexity marketplace problems across conversion rates, incidence assumptions, panel velocity, and fraud prevention

  • You will serve as the core business owner driving supply platform enhancements in close partnership with product and engineering leaders

  • You will leverage high-volume operational datasets to build predictive supply forecasting models and automated reporting systems

  • You will join an organization with strong business momentum, backed by Blackstone, during an exciting phase of global platform expansion

What you will do

  • Forecast client demand patterns, identify potential audience shortages, and deploy targeted supply expansion solutions

  • Evaluate partner performance across geography, speed, cost, respondent quality, and delivery reliability to optimize portfolio mix

  • Diagnose project-level delivery bottlenecks and analyze fulfillment metrics including fill rates, conversion rates, and time to fill

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to identify and prioritize platform features that enhance routing efficiency and inventory visibility

  • Advise sales, client success, and research teams on feasibility, pricing implications, incidence expectations, and achievable project timelines

  • Collaborate with finance to track gross margin impact, manage supplier cost inflation, and align pricing guidance with operational realities

What you will bring

  • Eight (8) or more years of experience within market research, sample operations, panel management, respondent supply, or marketplace operations

  • Four (4) or more years in a leadership role managing supply strategy, marketplace performance, or supplier ecosystems

  • In-depth expertise in online survey sampling, feasibility modeling, incidence rates, quota management, and survey routing dynamics

  • Proven track record of managing both proprietary panel assets and third-party sample provider networks

  • Strong analytical capability with proficiency in evaluating operational dashboards, unit economics, and gross margin optimization

  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence revenue, product, and finance stakeholders

  • Ability to operate effectively across a remote, global organization spanning multiple regions and time zones

Bonus points

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree

  • Experience building automated supplier scorecards, inventory forecasting tools, or audience feasibility engines

  • Direct experience developing survey routing logic, profiling algorithms, or marketplace matching rules

  • Familiarity with advanced respondent validation, digital fingerprinting, and automated fraud prevention technologies

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
