Job Description:

We're growing at Penn Mutual and looking to add a Director of Supervision with our HTK team.

As the Director of Supervision, we're looking for a talent individual who has strong FIS Protegent Surveillance tool experience. You will collaborate with the Technology Department to support the implementation, testing, and staff training related to the FIS Protegent Surveillance tool and its associated alerts. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily transactions and activities of HTK Registered Representatives and Investment Advisor Representatives. Additionally, this role will provide ongoing support to Financial Professionals and Field Leadership, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

This individual must demonstrate proficiency in compliance and supervision processes and procedures, possess strong leadership capabilities, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training and education on company policies and procedures; trading and operations, state insurance and securities regulations, and FINRA/SEC rules and regulations
  • Supervise sales activities of assigned registered representatives including the review of daily trade activity and performing suitability reviews for all investment sales including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs and Annuities.
  • Perform initial reviews of outside business activities and private securities transactions
  • Review of advertising and sales literature
  • Assist in Field related investigations as needed/requested
  • Document RR activity, issues, and provide monthly report to Field Leadership
  • Monitor system queues for designated offices and ensure workloads are distributed accordingly
  • Manage the performance of team members and provide guidance and training when necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience

  • Must have strong experience with FIS Protegent Surveillance tool for monitoring securities transactions, implementation, testing, and staff training related duties.
  • 7+ years supervisory experience with a Broker/Dealer or RIA.
  • Experience managing and leading a successful team
  • Working knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations related to securities and insurance industries

Education/Licenses/Professional Designations

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • FINRA Series 7, 24, 66 required
  • FINRA Series 53, and 4 or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Life Insurance license preferred

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000
