We are currently seeking a Director, Streaming Strategy, to join our Franchise & Strategic Partnerships team, based in our Santa Monica, California, office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Frameworks: Develop business plans and strategic frameworks for AMCN’s streaming portfolio to support streaming subscriber and revenue growth. This role will craft persuasive, data-driven materials that
highlight opportunities, rationale, considerations, requirements, and success criteria to influence executive decision-making and ensure organizational alignment.
Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to benchmark, identify emerging trends, and whitespace opportunities, and competitive threats within the streaming industry.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning: Produce actionable go-to-market (GTM) analysis to support the development and execution of growth strategies in close partnership with Finance and Functional teams (i.e. marketing, content, partnerships, product).
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner cross-functionally with Content Strategy, Programming, Finance, Marketing,
Product, Research, and other crucial workstream owners in support of insights for leadership updates and initiative optimization.
Growth Project Management: Manage growth initiative project planning and alignment: partner with cross-functional teams to move projects forward, proactively identify gaps, blocks and dependencies and create written status updates/presentations for leadership.
Performance Metrics: Assist in the identification of reporting needs and development, execution, organization, and maintenance of streaming reporting, tracking and performance dashboards to inform strategic decision-making for GTM plans and evaluate progress toward goals.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant strategy, financial, consulting, business development, or similar experience.
Advanced proficiency with financial modeling, large datasets, sensitivity analysis, and data visualization in Excel.
Comfort with ambiguity alongside quickly evolving strategies and priorities.
Strategic thinker who can balance near-term objectives with long-term goals and outcomes, evaluate risk, and develop effective solutions.
Ability to meet deadlines and sustain high-quality output through context switching.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and passion.
Capacity to build lasting alliances across diverse constituencies and build confidence with senior management.
Superb oral and written communication skills, with the aptitude to articulate complex concepts, and craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives in presentation materials (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, etc).
Stellar critical thinking and analytical skills, with demonstrated background in deep quantitative modeling and statistical analysis.
Highly detail-oriented and proactive, operating with a high degree of autonomy.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong Qualifications:
Prior experience in digital retail and subscription services, advertising, or e-commerce.
Working knowledge of digital advertising models and marketing tactics.
Familiarity with partnerships commercial terms structures and operating models, partner management, corporate development, and business development a plus.
MBA, MSF, or similar preferred
The base compensation range for this position is $150,000- $180,000, commensurate with experience.
