Our team is differentiated by its expertise in imagining, engineering, and delivering robots with advanced mobility, dexterity, intelligence, and efficiency -- robots specifically designed to work alongside people, in spaces built for people. Every day, we break through engineering challenges and invent new solutions and capabilities that will one day make robots commonplace and approachable. This work is our passion and our responsibility: our mission is to make businesses more productive and people’s lives more fulfilling.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of technical program management, strategy execution, and organizational leadership within advanced robotics, automation, or adjacent technology industries. Beyond technical and operational acumen, we highly value leaders who embody integrity, thrive in cross-functional collaboration, and are committed to delivering transformative impact that aligns with Agility’s mission. • Partner with Product and Innovation teams to translate market opportunities and customer requirements into actionable development priorities.
  • Build and lead program management processes that enable scalability, repeatability, and disciplined execution across the organization.
  • Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, synthesizing data, insights, and trade-offs into clear recommendations and decision frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all program teams.
  • Represent Agility in key strategic forums, both internally and externally, as a leader in humanoid robotics execution excellence.
  • Drive results alongside peers within the Strategy & Program Execution office while ensuring cross-functional and cross-program visibility, progress and advancement from within the Office of the CEO

Qualifications & Profile

  • 15+ years of experience in program management, strategy, or product execution, with significant exposure to complex hardware-software systems.
  • Proven ability to drive large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from concept through commercialization in robotics, early-stage complex technology, aerospace, or advanced technology.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with experience translating vision into executable programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and guide technical teams.
  • Experience with robotics, AI/ML, integrated systems and automation environments (e.g., logistics, manufacturing, warehousing) strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field required; Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field in conjunction with MBA strongly preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
